Jennifer Elder

Jennifer (Jen) Elder founded CITA in 2006. Before that, she taught and directed the Vienna Christian School in Vienna, Austria for 3 years.

One of Jen’s favorite verses is: “But now, this is what the LORD says - he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’” -Isaiah 43:1.

While she doesn’t teach classes directly, Jen can often be found connecting with the students, teachers, and families who have come to find a home at Christ in the Arts.

When Jen is not at the studio, she loves being with her family, cooking and hosting, playing soccer and ultimate frisbee, working out, doing obstacle races, shooting guns, taking long walks, etc.
