Garrett Elder
Garrett Elder began dancing in 2014 with a focus on ballet, contemporary, and men’s dance at Christ in the Arts (CITA). Garrett has danced for CITA (Company), Ballet Magnificat! (Pre-professional), Ballet Lubbock (Company Guest), and has interned with Transformation Ballet in Guatemala.
Garrett dreams of sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the Trinity through story telling with the art of dance. He believes “our purpose on this Earth is to spread the word of God and the gospel with the nation and our neighbors.”
“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything'; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” - Phillipians 4:4-7
When he’s not at the studio, Garrett can be found playing games with friends, spending time with family, and studying for exams.
Garrett is one of the choreographers, as well as one of the instructors for Pirouette & Echappe.
