Amelia Burch
The world labeled Amelia “orphan,” but God labeled her “daughter.” After being adopted into a Lubbock family at two years old, Amelia began her journey with Christ in the Arts in 2008, when the Hinds sisters began teaching after-school ballet classes at her preschool. As a young girl, she knew ballet was her heart language—good for her body and vital to her soul! She became a Company dancer in 2020.
Amelia has a special place in her heart for the quiet girls whose hearts want to dance but who need help stepping into the boldness of dance to express the joy they feel in their hearts—something she still works on herself. Life can be tough, and Amelia has learned to rely on God’s great mercy. She is living proof that a girl can find her voice by finding her dancing feet and that God’s labels are the only ones that matter.
When not dancing or teaching class, Amelia enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling.
