Gavin R. Elder

Gavin R. Elder joined CITA in 2015, training under Kevin Hinds, Mark Leber, and many other inspiring instructors. Gavin is a T.A. (Teacher’s Assistant), and is assisting with Arabesque and Guys Class 1, where he enjoys encouraging young men to grow in skill, confidence, and creativity. Gavin brings a large, upbeat presence to the studio, always ready to support students and celebrate their progress. (Sometimes with pushups and unnecessarily long handstands).

Outside of dance, Gavin loves spending time with friends playing Dungeons & Dragons, volunteering with the West Texas Pathfinders through GMRS communication, and diving into his favorite fantasy novels. Gavin is also a Horizon Trailmen with Trail Life USA and is currently working on achieving the peak of Trail Life advancement, the Freedom Award.
