Tinsley Drake

Tinsley started her dance training at Ballet Lubbock when she was 3 years old. In the fall of 2015, she moved to Christ In The Arts after attending a summer workshop. As well as attending the annual CITA summer workshops, she has attended Doxa’s summer intensive in 2022, and the summer dance intensive at Ballet Magnificat! in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

She has enjoyed every second of dancing, and using her movement to glorify the Lord. Under the instruction of her teachers, she’s been instilled with sharing the gospel through her dancing. It’s always been her dream to teach and she is so thankful for the opportunity to pour into her studentes as her teachers have poured into her. Her favorite part of dancing and teaching is to share the gospel, to share the Lord’s truth through movement, and using dance as an act of worship.

“The one thing I ask of the Lord - the thing I seek most - is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.” - Psalm 37:4

When she’s not in the studio, Tinsley can be found reading, hanging out with friends and family, or sitting in a coffee shop.

Tinsley is the Instructor for Jete and Contemporary.
