KEVIN HINDS

Kevin Hinds began his dance training with CITA in 2007 under the instruction of Lara Hinds, Rachel Butts, and David Hinds. He continued developing his skills through many CITA Summer Workshops and was honored to attend Ballet Magnificat!’s Summer Dance Intensive in 2016 on scholarship, where he trained under Jiri Voborsky, Kathy Thibodeaux, John Vandervelde, and other esteemed instructors. From 2017 to 2019, he trained closely with Mark Leber, refining both his technique and artistry.

Kevin began serving as a teaching assistant in 2016 and became an independent instructor in 2018. From that point through 2023, he taught intermediate and advanced ballet technique in addition to the Guys Program. Since 2023, he has continued teaching the Guys Class while remaining active as a choreographer and member of CITA’s Leadership Council Team. He has contributed to the choreography of several recent productions, most notably Reborn, A Tale of the Kingdom, and Inheritance.

Kevin graduated from Texas Tech University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. That same year, he began working full-time at Betenbough Homes and was promoted to a leadership role in 2024, where he has received world-class leadership training through Betenbough Companies and Kingdom at Work. Kingdom at Work has greatly influenced the way CITA cares for people, offering insight and practical tools for building intentional, Christ-centered culture.

Kevin married his wife, Holly, in 2022. They welcomed their son, Ronen, in January 2025. Outside of work and the studio, Kevin enjoys training for Spartan races and reading.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

Kevin is one of the choreographers, is on the leadership team, and teaches Guys class.
