Andrea Taylor

Andrea joined Christ in the Arts in the fall of 2017 when her oldest started dancing. She started as a Costume Assistant, and took over as Costume Mistress in 2019.

Andrea manages the costumes, the fittings, the wonderful ladies that make up the costume team, the goings on in the costume workshop to make brand new costumes, and all things related to the fantastic pieces worn by the dancers. The costume team makes about 95% of all the costumes worn on stage!

“One aspect of my job that I love is I am not limited to any one or two levels. I have the delight of getting to interact with every single dancer that comes to CITA. I might only interact with them during one fitting event, or I get to watch them grow and bloom from young new dancers into elegant confident dancers. Either way, I am constantly inspired and blessed by these interactions and friendships.”

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” - Colossians 3:12-14

When she’s not at the studio or in the costume workshop, Andrea can be found playing games, watching movies with her family, listening to audiobooks, or homeschooling her 3 kiddos.
