Programs

Christ in the Arts offers several programs that provide performing arts instruction to children and adults in an environment that honors Christ first and foremost. Our focus has always been to provide an opportunity for West Texas residents, to express their creative and artistic talents in an environment that honors the heart of our Creator, specifically in the area of the performing arts. Currently we operate a ballet school with eight levels and a company and most recently a vocal music program that hosts our Girl's Ensemble.

We believe that our culture is positively impacted by performances and programs that demonstrate and uphold traditional values, that honor and strengthen family ties, and that give definition and expression to genuine beauty and grace.

We also believe that education of proper technique and etiquette in the performing arts will encourage the spirit of the students, will help to build confidence in their ability to express their unique talents, and will cultivate the wonderful esprit de corps that comes with working hard together on significant projects and programs.

We have also found that the setting of a the fine arts and musical theatre production provides several unique opportunities to enhance the benefits of the ideals listed above. Not only are performance skills increased, but also the opportunity for people of all ages to work together to create a situation where the participants are inspired to live productively can truly be accomplished.
