What We Do

The expression Christ In The Arts is both our name and our goal.  In contrast to simply adding a religious veneer to our various activities, our purpose in existing is to know, in real experience, what can happen as the spirit of Jesus fills all that we are and do from the inside-out.  We believe that, though we thoroughly give ourselves to perfecting the forms of dramatic dance we have been given to use, those very forms can feel empty unless filled with His presence, much as a physical body must be filled with a spirit to be alive.  Thus, there is the joy of a physical/spiritual cooperation that truly brings Christ…into the Arts.

UPCOMING EVENT

EPIC…The Timeless Tale Of Extravagant Love!

      May 31st & June 1st

First Baptist Church, Lubbock, TX,

7:00p.m.

Join us for this most-beloved, epic story retold through a unique kind of dramatic dance, engaging music, and stunning visual effects!  Follow the Unseen One as He reveals his heart throughout all of history through real people’s personal stories!  Men and women…experiencing and demonstrating over the centuries the unique kind of love that beats in the heart of the One who wants us to know Him!

Based on the compelling, narrative music of long-time singer/song-writer, Michael Card, and the gripping, original choreography of Lara and Anna Hinds, this grand story is not able to be as much told as experienced! Eighty-plus dancers, joined by guest artists Jonathan Chapman, Benjamin Caldwell, and Andrew Schappacher, cause the stage to be overflowing with color and motion, creating a sensory feast for all who attend!

And, through generous gifts from individuals and corporate sponsors, this year, for the first time, we are able to offer free admission!
